Phoenix Takes a Dangerous Walk in Huntington

AL Season 4 Standings

The home team holds serve so far in the season 4 RTCBL World Series, as Phoenix wins the first 2 in the desert and Huntington takes the next 3 on the coast. An insight into the series came to me last week at a Dodger-Met game, when Tom (Utah Pioneers) the Sage remarked to me as we sat in our front-row top of the dugout seats, "You know, if you walk the lead-off batter in a inning, he scores 60% of the time." Not just the lead-off batter, but any walk seems to be dangerous in this series. More. . .
