The RTCBL is the original continuous ownership, career progression league utilizing the best players from baseball history (1876-200x). Players are drafted and begin in their rookie season and progress along in their careers as the league continues. A player must have a completed major league season where he either pitched 50 innings or had 130 at bats to be eligible to be drafted. There are no "prospect" picks in the RTCBL. Players can come from the National League (1876-200X), American League (1901-200X), Federal League (1914-1915), American Association (1882-1891), Players League (1890), or Union Association (1884). All players are normalized to an All-Time Baseball League Average (which is given below). |
